Duck scavenger hunt

It was such a blast putting it together, and I wanted to share some tips so you can host your own super fun rubber duck adventure. Trust me, it's easier than you think and brings so much joy! First off, why a duck scavenger hunt? Well, rubber ducks are just inherently cute and make fantastic 'treasures.' They're small, easy to hide, and you can find them in so many fun colors and themes. Mine was a little pink cutie, which perfectly matched my room decor! Choosing Your Theme & Hiding Spots: Think about what you love! Since my room has a bit of a 'Midnights' vibe and I love cozy things, I decided to incorporate those elements. Some of my favorite hiding spots were: Cozy Corners: Tucked under my fluffy white blanket or peeking out from my red and white knitted throw. Blankets are always a winner for a soft landing! Personalized Nooks: Near my CD collection (yes, Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' made an appearance!), nestled by my jewelry stand with all my earrings, or even amidst my makeup brushes. These spots make the hunt feel extra special and personal. Unexpected Places: I even had one hidden among my pink-themed stickers! The key is to think outside the box – behind a picture frame, on a bookshelf, or peeking from a plant. The more creative, the better! Making it Fun with Clues (Optional but Recommended!): If you want to amp up the challenge, you can write little clues. For example, if your duck is near a CD, a clue could be: 'Where does the music play, and your favorite artist holds sway?' If it's under a blanket: 'Find me curled up where you love to snooze, away from the morning blues!' This adds an exciting layer of puzzle-solving. Who Can Play? Anyone! Duck scavenger hunts are fantastic for kids' parties, a fun activity with friends, or even a cute way to surprise a loved one. You can adjust the difficulty by how tricky your hiding spots and clues are. The Payoff: The best part is seeing the excitement as your duck is discovered! You can even have a small prize for the 'finder' – maybe a sweet treat or a small, themed trinket. It's all about creating those memorable, happy moments. So, grab your favorite rubber duck (or a whole flock!), get creative with your hiding spots, and prepare for some serious fun. Happy hunting!
