Lets be Friends/Pen Pals!!

⚡️Hey yall! I’m a newbie on here, but I would love to make some new friends! I would also love to be someone’s penpal! Especially if you’re from outside of the US! Feel free to message me on here or on any of my socials (have them at the bottom)!!⚡️

💎 ABOUT ME 💎

Name: Kennedy

Age: 20

INTERESTS: anything art related, spending time with friends/family, shopping, music, makeup, and I’m trying to get into reading!

🐕 I have a Great Dane baby that I absolutely ADORE.

📚 I’m a pre-law major!! I was previously attending Charleston Southern University, but because of recent unexpected events, I have decided to do online classes for the time being.

💎 I’m an ADPi girly!!

✝️ I love Jesus and love helping His people. I’ve made it incredibly important to make Him the center of my life and focus on growing our relationship. I think having a good community to support you is SUPER important. I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that a lot of the people in my life don’t actually deserve the spot I’ve been saving them. So I really want to find kind, supportive, and good hearted friends. Friends that will see my heart and my soul, and love me for that.

... Read moreHave you ever found yourself wondering, "What exactly is a pen pal friend?" It's a question many of us ask, especially when looking to broaden our horizons and connect with people beyond our immediate circle. A pen pal, at its heart, is a friend you communicate with regularly, typically through letters or online messages, often from a different city, state, or even country! It's about forming a unique connection based on shared interests, cultural exchange, and genuine conversation. For someone like me, who's looking to expand my community beyond my current circle, finding a pen pal feels like an amazing adventure. It's not just about exchanging words; it's about opening a window into someone else's life and culture, which is incredibly enriching. Imagine learning about traditions from a country far away, or discovering new music and art forms you'd never encounter otherwise! The idea of global friendships is so exciting because it offers fresh perspectives and helps you understand the world in a more personal way. So, how do you go about finding a pen pal friend? Just like I'm doing by being open about my life here on Lemon8 – sharing my interests like art projects, my love for my Great Dane (who is basically my baby!), and my studies – being authentic is key. You can look for online platforms specifically designed for pen pals, or even join communities based on your hobbies. For example, if you're into art, you might find fellow enthusiasts who'd love to share their 'painting of a blue horse' or 'dog illustration' with you via letters. If you're a student, connecting with someone studying a similar field can spark fascinating conversations. My own journey as a pre-law major has me eager to hear about different educational paths and life experiences. When you start communicating, what do you talk about? Anything and everything! Share snippets of your daily life, like what you do with your friends and family, or the latest book you're trying to get into. Describe your hobbies – maybe you've just finished an 'art project' or are showing off your pet's new 'dog collar with Asher' engraved on it. You can talk about your dreams, your faith, or even just what your local town looks like. I love sharing updates about my ADPi sorority community and what it's like to wear my 'light blue jersey and baseball cap' on a typical day. Asking questions about their life, their culture, and their interests is crucial to keeping the conversation flowing. It's a two-way street of discovery! Remember that picture of me in a mirror selfie with 'Lets Be FRIENDS!!' overlaid? That's the spirit – an open invitation to connect. Ultimately, being a pen pal is about patience, understanding, and the joy of building a deep, meaningful connection over time. It's a wonderful way to find kind, supportive friends who see your heart and soul, just as I'm hoping to find. So, if you've been curious, I encourage you to explore the world of pen pals – you might just find some incredible global friendships waiting for you!
