Speaking of transformations, I know many of you are also curious about other types of stretched piercings, especially those for the face, like eyebrow or even dimple piercings. While my main focus recently has been my septum and getting my ear stack just right with new charms – you might have spotted my eyebrow piercing in some of the photos! While I haven't stretched that one yet, it’s definitely a popular choice for those looking to make a statement. When thinking about a stretched eyebrow piercing, it's quite different from cartilage or fleshy areas. Eyebrows are sensitive, and stretching needs to be approached with extreme caution. Typically, eyebrow piercings are done with smaller gauges, like 16g or 14g. If you're considering stretching, it’s crucial to go very slowly, using tapers or dead stretching with single-flare plugs made of high-quality materials like surgical steel or glass. Migration can be a real concern with eyebrow stretches, so choosing the right jewelry and avoiding quick jumps in size is key. Always keep it super clean, just like you would with any other stretch. I've seen some amazing stretched eyebrow looks with small tunnels or thick barbells, and they can look incredibly unique! Now, for something even more unique – stretched dimple piercings! These are often called cheek piercings, and they're placed to mimic natural dimples. Stretching dimple piercings is less common than, say, earlobes or septums, and it comes with its own set of considerations. The tissue in your cheeks is delicate, and stretching here requires a very experienced piercer. The goal is usually to accommodate larger gauge labrets or small tunnels, which can really enhance the 'dimple' effect. Healing for dimple piercings can be a bit longer and trickier anyway, so adding stretching into the mix means you need to be extra diligent with aftercare. Swelling and potential tooth/gum issues are things to be mindful of. If you're considering dimples, stretched or not, definitely do your research and consult with a reputable piercer who has experience with them. From my own experience with stretching my septum – and you can see my stretched earlobes in the pictures too, rocking those tunnels along with an industrial bar, helix ring, and conch piercing – the number one rule is patience. Don't rush it! Use a good, body-safe lubricant, and never force a size. Every body is different, and what works for one person might not work for another. I've found that listening to my body, keeping everything meticulously clean, and using quality jewelry (like the triple moon pendant on my necklace, which I love to pair with my piercings!) makes all the difference. Whether you're thinking about a subtle ear charm addition or a bold facial stretch, always prioritize health and safety. Happy piercing adventures!
