Fort Lauderdale, often referred to as the ‘Venice of America’ due to its extensive canal system, offers a vibrant blend of beaches, arts, culture, and nightlife. While enjoying my time, I eagerly took in the sights from the auto ferry needed to reach Miami, just a short drive south. The dynamic culture of South Florida is a tapestry that includes delicious cuisines from pizzerias to innovative restaurants. The local arts scene, including museums like the AutoNation IMAX Museum of Discovery and Science, is a great attraction for both visitors and residents. With exciting events planned around the New Year, including festivities that span across various parks and venues, there's always something happening. Make sure to check out the vibrant art installations and the eclectic mix of local shops that Fort Lauderdale is famous for.
