Sleepy Day
Now on the 14th of every month I am going to be giving myself a shot to kill my B cells in hopes of slowing down the progression of the Multiple Sclerosis that I have had since 2/29/12, a Leap Day. It’s the method I chose.
Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can be challenging, especially on days filled with fatigue and the impact of treatment. Kesimpta (ofatumumab) is a targeted therapy for relapsing forms of MS that aims to control disease progression by attacking B cells. On the 14th of each month, I administer my dose and I've learned it's key to balance rest and activity during recovery. Many MS warriors understand this struggle; planning days around potential symptoms can enhance quality of life. Engaging with supportive communities, sharing personal challenges, and seeking knowledge can empower us to cope effectively. It's essential to track your symptoms and discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider. Remember, you're not alone in this fight. By managing treatment schedules and aligning them with personal activities, we can reclaim control over our days and find ways to thrive despite the ups and downs. Let's support each other in this journey towards wellness and resilience.
