Fellow writers, what are your preferred tools of the trade?
I obviously left out a computer/ laptop. That’s because I prefer my iPad to work, write, translate on. When I wrote a bimonthly opinion article in the Knoxville News Sentinel from ‘08-‘09, I wrote much of my articles on a Microsoft cellphone.
I really like writing poems on my Notes app on my iPhone.
I like to work on my new book/story & fiction pieces on the iPad. I like to write my formal pieces on the iPad.
I like to do most of my content creation & Lemon 8 & social media posts on my phone.
I picked up a spiral notebook in case I want to write scenes by hand anytime soon.
When I was in Honors Algebra 2 & Chemistry in high school, I wrote stories involving my friends on a TI-81 calculator. I was writing on a device before texting was popular, even possible, or even thought of!
