My healing journey

I am creating the life I want and the life I love! it comes with sacrifices and while it's sweet, it's bittersweet! Health Challenges and Growth Challenges while laced with Grief! Every now and then I am still missing my brother and mom! They were two of my biggest fans and always encouraged me and listened when I would finally open up about the things that mattered to me! I have a problem showing my vulnerability and appear to have it all figured out! My daily walk with GOD has taught me, it's okay to not be okay! I am praying that this next leg of my journey provides me with a soft landing! I wouldn't take nothing for my journey because every disappointment, every year every pain just led me to the place where I am today and I don't believe I would have gotten here any other way! I pray 🙏 for healing and recovery!

From my own experience, I learned that allowing myself to feel vulnerable was one of the most crucial yet challenging steps toward true healing. Like many, I found it difficult to show vulnerability, thinking I needed to have everything under control. However, embracing the idea that "it's okay to not be okay" brought me enormous relief and allowed me to connect more deeply with myself and with others. Losing loved ones, especially those who were vital sources of support and encouragement, adds layers of bittersweet emotions. The absence of my brother and mom remains a tender part of my journey. Yet, their memory fuels my determination to continue creating a life I love despite the sacrifices and struggles. Mourning them openly, whether through prayer, reflection, or sharing my story, helps me honor them while moving forward. Faith has played a pivotal role throughout my healing process. A daily walk with GOD has been my anchor, reminding me that perseverance, hope, and spiritual growth can coexist with pain and loss. This spiritual connection also provides a sense of comfort and a soft landing during times when life feels overwhelming. I encourage anyone on a similar path to cherish every part of their experience—disappointments, setbacks, joys, and growth moments alike. These combine to shape the person you are today. Healing is not about avoiding pain but integrating it into your story and finding strength within it. Prayer, self-compassion, and patience have all been vital tools in recovery. By embracing vulnerability, honoring grief, and nurturing faith, I've discovered a path that leads not only to survival but to meaningful renewal and hope for the future.
