Prayer changes things..
Prayers does changes things but often not the things we prayed for. We are often disappointed or discouraged when God doesn’t do the things We want him to do . We must remember God has the final say and what we plan for our life may be different than what God has planned. Remember God has the Final say! #praymoreworryless #trustgod🙌🏽 #prayeristhekey
I totally get it – when someone you care about is going through a tough time, your first instinct is to send them love and support, and often, that comes in the form of prayer. My journey with faith has taught me that while prayer absolutely changes things, sometimes those changes aren't exactly what we envision. It’s hard, isn't it? We want to see immediate, tangible results for our loved ones. But as I've grown, I've found immense peace in understanding that God truly has the final say, and His plan is always perfect, even if different from ours. When I’m thinking and praying for someone, I often ask myself, 'How can I truly convey my support?' It’s more than just a fleeting thought; it’s an active act of love. Sometimes, a simple text saying, 'Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and sending prayers your way today,' can mean the world. It’s about letting them know they're not alone. For a dear friend, my prayers often focus on their specific needs. If they’re facing a challenge, I might pray for strength and wisdom, or for peace in a chaotic situation. For example, 'Dear God, please wrap my friend [Friend's Name] in Your loving embrace today. Grant them courage to face their challenges and bring clarity to their path. May they feel Your presence and peace, knowing You are with them every step of the way. Amen.' I've learned that even a short, heartfelt prayer can be incredibly powerful. And when it comes to sending hugs, love, and prayers, it’s about genuine connection. A heartfelt card, a phone call, or even just sharing a comforting quote can amplify your prayer. I often send a message like, 'Sending you the biggest hug, all my love, and powerful prayers for strength and comfort right now. You're in my heart.' It’s a way to physically (or virtually) extend that loving energy. My husband is my rock, and I make sure to lift him up in prayer regularly. For him, a short prayer might be about his work, his health, or his spiritual growth. 'Heavenly Father, I pray for my husband today. Guide his steps, protect his health, and bless his endeavors. Fill him with Your wisdom and peace, and help him feel Your unwavering love. Amen.' These small moments of prayer can truly fortify our relationships and his spirit. When I hear that 'my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,' it always resonates deeply. It's a comprehensive way to offer support during difficult times, acknowledging that struggles often impact an entire family unit. When I send such a message, I try to personalize it if possible, mentioning something specific I'm praying for them to overcome. What truly underpins all these prayers, whether they are for friends, family, or your husband, is belief. As it says in Matthew 21:22, 'If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.' This verse isn't a guarantee that every specific wish will be granted exactly as we imagine, but it's a profound affirmation of the power of faith and the certainty that our prayers are heard. My personal experience has shown me that when I truly believe and trust in God's wisdom, even if the outcome isn't what I originally prayed for, I always receive something far greater: peace, understanding, and a deeper connection to His divine plan. So, keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God's answers, though sometimes unexpected, are always for our highest good.
