My posting strategy! I posted 158 videos last month using this strategy.
***My average views were 250-400 so it was always normal for them to hit 150 within 1-2 hours.
Posting Strategy:
I post video A and once that video hits 150 views within a 1-2 hour time span.
I’m now ready to post video B. Video B has really less than 2 hours to reach 150 but whether it does or not. I will go ahead and post video C because we can’t go over the 2 hour time limit if it doesn’t. Video C performs and now it’s time for video D and just repeat to process.
In my experience, this worked for me….all of my videos performed really well, this kept me consistent and I kept the algorithm fed. #creatortips #postingstrategy #contenttips
Consistency is key when it comes to growing your video views and engagement, especially on platforms like TikTok where the algorithm favors creators who post regularly. The strategy of posting your next video only after the current one hits a set threshold, such as 150 views within 1-2 hours, ensures that each video has adequate time to gain traction before moving on. This approach prevents overwhelming your audience and the algorithm with too many uploads at once. By maintaining this cycle—posting video A, waiting until it achieves 150 views in about 1-2 hours, then posting video B, even if B hasn't hit 150 views yet before moving on to video C—you maintain a steady stream of content that feeds the TikTok algorithm consistently without going beyond the ideal 2-hour window. This method supports audience retention and keeps your content fresh in the feed. Furthermore, averaging 250 to 400 views per video suggests that this pacing keeps your audience engaged. TikTok’s algorithm rewards not just the quantity of uploads but their quality and consistency, along with engagement metrics like views within the initial hours. This strategy helps creators remain consistent, which is often more beneficial in the long run than sporadic bursts of multiple videos. In addition, paying attention to how your individual videos perform early after posting allows you to adjust your content strategy. If a video doesn’t reach 150 views within 2 hours, moving forward with the next video rather than waiting prevents stagnation and keeps your channel active. For creators looking to scale their presence, combining this posting rhythm with attention to trending topics, hashtags like #creatortips, #postingstrategy, and #contenttips, and engaging with your community can further boost growth. Remember, the goal of this strategy is not just quantity but creating a steady engagement flow that signals the platform you are an active and relevant creator.
