Who Am I !? Read all of it !
For those who don’t really know me… here’s the quick introduction behind the chaos.
I’m a mom of twins, a Pre-K teacher, a millennial, a proud Disney adult, and an autoimmune disease warrior… which basically means coffee, patience, and sarcasm keep me alive. ☕🍎
Oh, and I’ve been married for almost 21 years… we can’t forget the brave soul who has stayed by my side through all of this. 😅
On the outside I’m usually smiling, laughing, and happy-go-lucky.
On the inside? Think Eeyore energy with a decent attitude. 😂
I’m a hopeless romantic, the kind of person who still believes in love, kindness, and that the world would be a better place if people were just a little nicer to each other. In another lifetime people probably would’ve called me a tree hugger, because I genuinely believe in peace and humanity doing better.
Now let’s be clear… I don’t do rudeness well.
But I absolutely hold my own when necessary. 🤷🏽♀️
I believe in speaking your truth, even when it makes people uncomfortable. Life isn’t perfect, the world isn’t perfect, and pretending we are helps absolutely no one.
Also… full disclosure:
I cuss like a sailor,
I’m loud,
I’m a little obnoxious,
and if there’s music playing there’s a 95% chance I’m dancing somewhere.
I’m also not afraid to point out my own imperfections… or anyone else’s. 🤷🏽♀️
But the people who truly know me know the most important part of the story…
Under all the sarcasm, loudness, and Eeyore-level inner monologue is someone with a very soft heart, who loves deeply, protects fiercely, and tries to put a little more kindness into the world.
And if you’re here for the ride with me, my name, my truth, and my loud imperfect self, then welcome.
If not… you can kiss my ass goodbye. ✌🏽😌#gettoknowmebetter
Living with an autoimmune disease while managing a household with twins and a demanding job as a Pre-K teacher is no small feat. From my experience, it requires a strong support system, relentless determination, and a good dose of humor. The daily grind often feels overwhelming, especially when dealing with chronic pain or fatigue that autoimmune conditions can bring, but embracing patience and sarcasm has been a lifesaver for me. Being a millennial and a proud Disney adult adds unique layers to my identity, blending nostalgia and modern parenting challenges. Music and dancing have always been my way to recharge and stay joyful, even on the toughest days. At home, the love I share with my husband, who has stood by me for over two decades, strengthens my resolve and reminds me why resilience matters. I’ve learned that openly speaking about imperfections and embracing one’s true self helps build genuine connections. Instead of hiding struggles under a happy mask, sharing the inner 'Eeyore energy' has made me more relatable and fostered empathy among friends and family. Kindness, to me, isn't just a virtue but a necessary act in a world that often feels chaotic. For anyone navigating a similar path—whether parenting, health battles, or career challenges—remember that it’s okay to be loud, imperfect, and raw. Self-acceptance is a journey, and sometimes a little sass mixed with vulnerability makes the ride worthwhile. Life’s not perfect, but embracing every part of the story allows us to find peace and build a better, kinder world.
