Traction Alopecia and How To Treat it

Hey guys! ❤️

Let’s start with what is Traction Alopecia.

Traction Alopecia - is a type of hair loss caused by repetitive or prolonged tension on the hair. It can be caused by hairstyles that pull the hair tight, such as braids, ponytails, cornrows, or tight buns.

Now braids and cornrows can be used as protective styles if done correctly. I will post a separate post pertaining to that. Just keep that in mind and follow to stay tuned.

Now that we know what traction Alopecia is, let’s discuss what you need to do to fix it.

1. Use good products thats formulated for alopecia and hair growth. Like out “alluring hair growth oil.” This is what i used to help truly heal my scalp.

2. You need to create s hair regimen and stick to it. Don’t worry i will be adding a separate post on this as well. So be sure to follow.

3. Create a schedule for your hair. When do you do wash days on Monday. When do you moisturize and how often ect.

4. Stay consistent! Without consistency you will not see results.

5. Be patient this is a journey not a race. You will get there especially with our products and that’s a promise!

... Read moreTraction Alopecia is increasingly recognized in the community, particularly among individuals who frequently wear tight hairstyles. In addition to understanding what causes this type of hair loss, many are seeking solutions that go beyond temporary fixes. To aid recovery, using specialized hair products that nourish the scalp is essential. Ingredients such as biotin and essential oils can stimulate growth and strengthen hair strands. Regularly following a well-structured hair care regimen contributes to regeneration. This includes setting clear wash days, moisturizing adequately, and using heat protectors if applying any styling tools. Consistency is key to protecting your hair from further damage and promoting healthier growth over time. Moreover, lifestyle adjustments can also impact hair health. Maintaining a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins can create a favorable environment for hair growth. Consulting with a dermatologist can provide personalized treatment options, including new topical treatments or dietary supplements specifically designed for hair restoration. By adopting a holistic approach, individuals suffering from Traction Alopecia can significantly improve their hair health and regain confidence.
