I built a virtual meeting with speech translation
I have developed a conference software that can translate speech in real-time.
My previous job was leading a multinational AI research and development team. Since colleagues from different countries had varying levels of spoken English proficiency, it was difficult for everyone to communicate efficiently and accurately during remote meetings. We had always been thinking about how to make cross-border meetings easier—if participants could speak in their native languages and let AI translate their speech in real-time according to the meeting discussion, people would no longer have to worry about not understanding foreign languages or being afraid to speak them.
So I created a conference software that supports real-time speech translation.
1. It can support almost real-time speech-to-speech conversion. You can also customize your own voice timbre, so that the translated speech still sounds like you.
2. It can also combine with AI to optimize sentences based on context, ensuring that technical terms remain accurate after translation.
3. We have optimized the interaction logic in the meeting. When you press the button to speak, others can hear your translated speech and also view all historical comments through the chat box.
Our product has already received incubation support from the famous Silicon Valley incubator [Y Combinator], which is the same startup cradle previously led by Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI!
Our product has now been publicly released, and everyone is welcome to try it out!
