My boyfriend and I love going to MLB games together. The tickets are cheap since our team isn’t very good, and the stadium is usually half empty.
Here’s the issue: he always wants to buy the cheapest tickets and then sneak into better seats. I hate it. I feel like it’s stealing, and it’s so embarrassing when people show up and we have to move. I’d rather just sit in the seats we actually paid for, or buy better ones upfront.
He says “everyone does it” and the stadium doesn’t care. I say if you want better seats, pay for them. It’s turned into a recurring fight between us.
Am I being uptight, or is he just being cheap?

You’re not being uptight at all, I’d feel the same way 🙈 it’s so awkward when you have to move because the real seat owners show up. I get wanting to save money, but peace of mind is worth paying for the right seats. Cheaper isn’t always better!
