He didn’t care I got robbed 💔

Two days ago, someone broke into my cellar and stole a bunch of stuff even the key to my backyard. I was terrified because I live alone, so I texted my boyfriend right away. He replied over an hour later, asked if I was okay… and then disappeared again for another hour.

Meanwhile, my neighbors and friends came over to help and comfort me while I waited for police. But him? He said he was busy washing dishes.

When I tried to tell him how hurt I felt, he said I was “making a big deal out of nothing” and even started mocking me. It honestly broke something in me I just needed him to care, to show up emotionally. But he didn’t.

Now we haven’t talked in over a day. I keep wondering… am I asking for too much by expecting my boyfriend to be there for me when something scary happens?

Are you sure he wasn’t the one who did it or was behind it? It’s kinda weird that he’s not concerned. Either way, I’d dump him.

As a property manager, I will tell you I’ve seen it several times when girls have things stolen. It’s usually someone that’s at their home frequently and it’s their guy.
