Feeling guilty after seeing my bf’s finances

While using my boyfriend’s laptop for work, I accidentally opened one of his Excel files turns out it was his budget and savings sheet.

We’ve been living together for 6 months, and he covers around 70–80% of our bills. I usually handle the food, but he still insists on buying small things for me toiletries, chocolates, coffee even when I tell him not to.

In that sheet, he had categories like future house, car, vacation, and even my master’s tuition. But under “personal savings,” it just said this 😞. My heart honestly broke a little. He’s saving for our future, but not for himself.

I’ve tried offering to take over some expenses, like the electricity bill, but he always says, “ako na lang.” I don’t want to hurt his pride, but I really want him to have something left for him.

How do I help more financially without making him feel bad or like I’m questioning his ability to provide?
