Review!!! (Spoiler alert)

I’m going to give this book 4 stars for a couple of reasons (hear me out!!) First it’s the fact that Millie kept letting Suzette flirt with her man!!! And the fact that Enzo ain’t dead it right away also made me mad!! It took a little longer to get to the plot than the other two books did and don’t get me wrong the ending was crazzyyy but it wasn’t Millie crazy! But overall I did enjoy the book and I still recommend it’s you haven’t started the series I recommend you do because you will surely love it like i do!!!

... Read moreAs a huge fan of psychological thrillers, picking up a new Freida McFadden book is always an event. I recently finished The Housemaid Is Watching, a title that has been buzzing everywhere, and it certainly delivered on the suspense! The cover alone, with its intriguing keyhole with a blue eye and the tagline She lives next door. She knows your secrets..., promised a deliciously dark read, and I was not disappointed by the intricate web of secrets it unwound. From the moment I started, I was immediately drawn into Millie's world, a character who finds herself in increasingly complex and unsettling situations. While I sometimes found myself frustrated with some of her choices—especially with Suzette constantly flirting with her man—it’s precisely that raw, relatable human element that kept me glued to the pages. Freida McFadden has a knack for creating characters who feel so real, even when they're making decisions that make you want to shout at the book! It makes you wonder, what would *I* do in that impossible situation? And then there's Enzo. Oh, Enzo! The mystery surrounding his character was a constant source of tension and speculation for me. He’s not just a side character; his presence and actions are pivotal, driving much of the plot's twists and turns. For anyone searching for 'enzo housemaid book' to understand his role better, I can tell you he's a character you won't soon forget. His story arc kept me guessing, and the revelations involving him were among the most shocking in the book. You spend the whole time trying to figure out what his true intentions are, and whether he’s a hero, a villain, or something far more complicated. What I particularly love about Freida McFadden’s writing, which is why she’s a THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER, is her ability to craft unexpected plot developments. While the pacing in this particular book felt a little slower to build up compared to some of her other works, when the plot finally hit its stride, it escalated into pure chaos! Her signature twists are always mind-bending, and this one was no exception. It’s the kind of book that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew, leaving you breathless by the end. As an avid lemon8reader, I always appreciate a story that keeps me on my toes. Overall, my the housemaid book review is definitely a positive one. If you haven't ventured into friedamcfadden's world yet, or specifically the housemaidseries, I highly recommend picking this up. It's a gripping psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the very last page, and despite some character frustrations, it’s an incredibly satisfying read. Prepare to lose sleep!
