This book is a good book to read if you willing to actually make the change he talked about. He had a lot of really good points I ain’t even think about and it definitely changed my view on a lot of stuff. I’ll give it 5 stars for sure. If you trying to change things about your life and want to know where to start this is a good book to start at. #5starreads #goodreads

Reading "Stop Doing That Sh*t" by Gary John Bishop was an eye-opening experience for me. The book nailed how self-sabotage can hold us back in ways we often don’t even recognize. Bishop’s blunt, straightforward style cuts through the fluff and forces you to take personal responsibility for change. One of the key takeaways was how recurring negative behaviors often stem from deeply ingrained thought patterns. The book doesn’t just tell you to stop these habits—it provides a clear roadmap on how to identify and confront them head-on. This approach made me realize I needed to stop waiting for motivation and start demanding better from myself daily. I found the emphasis on self-awareness especially powerful. The author encourages readers to listen to their inner dialogue and challenge self-defeating beliefs. It’s not an easy journey, but by making these changes, I noticed immediate improvements in my mindset and productivity. If you’re looking to make meaningful transformation but don’t know where to begin, this book is a practical starting point. It’s less about motivational fluff and more about actionable steps that push you out of your comfort zone. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone ready to stop sabotaging their own success and build the life they truly want.
