ACNH Eloise Vacation Home

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my latest ACNH Happy Home Paradise project: Eloise's adorable vacation home! When I got Eloise as a client, I knew I wanted to create something truly special and reflective of her sophisticated, yet sweet, personality. First things first, I always try to think about the villager's requested theme. For Eloise, she often leans towards a tasteful, elegant vibe. I pictured her relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book, so comfort and a touch of class were key. I started by grabbing some elegant furniture pieces from my catalog, thinking about warm woods and soft fabrics. For the main living area, I opted for a cozy reading nook. I used a simple sofa, a stylish armchair, and a small side table. To add lighting, I placed a floor lamp next to the armchair, making sure it cast a soft glow. I love using the Rotate function to get furniture perfectly aligned – it makes such a difference! I also thought about her favorite colors; often, Eloise is associated with shades of yellow and brown, so I tried to incorporate those subtly into the decor, perhaps with a cute rug or some wall art. When it came to the kitchen and dining area, I kept it functional but chic. A small, elegant dining table with two chairs felt just right for her. I like to copy good ideas, so I used a simple design I'd seen for a modern kitchen setup, adapting it with items I knew Eloise would appreciate. Don't forget to remove anything that clashes with the theme! Sometimes you put something down and realize it just doesn't fit, and that's totally fine. One of my favorite parts of designing vacation homes is the ability to customize almost everything. I often select multiple items to change their color or pattern at once, which saves so much time. For Eloise's bedroom, I went for a serene and calm atmosphere. A comfortable bed, a small vanity, and plenty of plants helped achieve this. I even added a little outdoor patio area where she could enjoy the sunshine, complete with a garden bench and some potted flowers. The Happy Home Paradise DLC gives you so much freedom to really make each villager's dream home come true. From choosing the perfect location to placing every last decorative item, it’s such a rewarding process. Once I felt like everything was in place, I used the Camera mode to capture the best angles, making sure to hit Finish when I was happy with the final look. It's truly a joy to see them enjoy their new space! If you're designing for Eloise, remember her love for tidiness and a bit of luxury. Think about items that fit a classic, refined aesthetic. Don't be afraid to experiment with different wallpapers and flooring – sometimes a bold choice can really elevate a room!
