Visiting Disneyland while 27 weeks pregnant with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is an experience like no other. HG can be extremely debilitating, often leading to severe nausea and dehydration, which is why I relied on a Zofran pump and needed IV fluids to make it through the day. Despite these challenges, I was determined to enjoy the magical moments with my three little ones. Planning a trip under such circumstances requires careful preparation. Staying hydrated was my top priority, and frequent rest breaks were essential to avoid overexertion. I learned to pace myself, accepting that I couldn’t do every ride or activity. Instead, focusing on the joyful vibes and creating lasting family memories made the experience worthwhile. Outfits were important too — I chose comfortable yet stylish Disney-themed outfits that accommodated my bump and helped me feel good throughout the day. Sharing my journey not only highlights the realities pregnant women with HG face in public settings, but also encourages others in similar situations to find ways to create magical experiences despite physical hardships. This trip was a testament to resilience and love. It reminded me that sometimes it’s not about the rides or attractions, but the smiles, laughter, and connection with loved ones that truly make Disneyland unforgettable.
