Our first stop was Bread Avenue, a cozy place offering soft mornings and sweet treats—though the menu was somewhat limited, I enjoyed a refreshing iced mocha, which was perfect for starting the day. Next, we headed to T Square, which offered a wider variety of options including fried rice and shawarma. Although they didn't have chicken shawarma, the fried rice was flavorful and satisfying. This spot also featured an interesting menu with dishes like fish ball, grill fish, tie curie pasta, and more, ranging from around NLE 50 to NLE 180, showcasing a diverse culinary palette. One thing worth noting is the wait time; it took a bit longer than expected to get our food, but the anticipation was worth it thanks to the stunning view overlooking the area—definitely a 10/10 experience for ambiance lovers. Ending the night with hot coffee added a comforting touch to a day full of new tastes and experiences. For anyone visiting Freetown, combining these two spots gives you a great taste of local specialties and a chance to enjoy the lively atmosphere. Bringing cash or local payment options is advisable since some food stalls might have limited payment methods. Overall, these food adventures offer authentic flavors and a glimpse into Sierra Leonean street food culture—an essential part of your travel experience.
