I read 18 books last month
I don’t know how but apparently all I did was read in January.
Reading 18 books in a single month was definitely an eye-opener for me. I found that having a diverse mix of genres like romance, contemporary, erotica, and fantasy kept my interest high and prevented burnout. The average book length was around 283 pages, which I could usually finish in about three days. I balanced my reading formats, too—about 78% digital, 17% print, and even 6% audio books. This variety helped me keep the habit fresh and enjoyable, especially when I was on the go. One thing I noticed was how important setting realistic daily reading goals became. Breaking down a book into manageable chunks made the whole process less intimidating. I also carved out dedicated reading time, often before bed or during commute times, which made a big difference. Audiobooks were a lifesaver on days when I couldn’t sit down with a physical or digital book. If you want to ramp up your own reading, I suggest keeping track of your progress using a reading app or journal. It’s motivating to see your total pages or books add up, and it helps you discover which genres or authors you enjoy most. Plus, choosing a variety keeps things exciting and prevents exhaustion from sticking to just one style. Overall, making reading a priority and mixing formats helped me blast through 18 books last month. It was rewarding and reminded me how enriching consistent reading can be for both relaxation and mental stimulation.
