Read moreHaving been active on social media for several years, I've noticed a common pattern when it comes to influencer marketing: many companies offer products for free to influencers as a way to promote their brands. This often leads to influencers sharing content monthly that highlights these products, which can sometimes make it feel repetitive or overly promotional. At times, it can be confusing for followers to differentiate between authentic recommendations and sponsored content. For example, comments like 'no me han salido los videos en orden' highlight how sometimes the content is not presented clearly, leading to confusion about the sequence or purpose of promotional videos. Additionally, phrases such as 'We don't have to like the same things' reflect the diversity of preferences among both influencers and their audiences. From my experience, the key to making sense of this landscape is to be aware that promotional content exists but also to look for genuine reviews and personal experiences shared by influencers. Not all promoted products resonate with every viewer, and understanding this helps manage expectations. This awareness allows us to enjoy social media content while critically assessing the marketing aspects and making informed decisions about purchases influenced by these promotions.
