Many people think that going to Shark Tank requires a lot of business, a lot of investment, but actually what I learned is that the team is looking for "leaders" rather than "ready companies."
I showed leadership with three things.
1️⃣, easy to work with - everything on offer, I say with clarity, easy to understand, does not sell dreams, but has a practical plan.
2️⃣ pretty budget + clear numbers - not just saying how much money you want, but explaining "what to do, how to pay back."
3️⃣ There's a Passion that looks worth investing in - because Shark doesn't shop, it buys "ourselves" and our way of thinking.
When I walked out of the studio, I didn't think I'd get a deal.
But I realized... "We passed the point where brave people rose up and sold their dreams in front of the whole country."
If you have an idea, a mission, and believe in what you do,
Don't wait to get ready - because on Shark Tank, no one's full hundred ready.
