Meet My Dog Luna 🐾

It feels like just yesterday I welcomed Luna into my life, even though it was already when I was 17. That 'adoption night' was a blur of puppy excitement! She was this tiny, fluffy ball of black and white fur with the most captivating blue eyes I'd ever seen. We knew right away she was a special girl, and naming her Luna, after the moon, just felt right for her ethereal gaze and playful spirit. It's truly amazing how quickly she became a part of our family. Being a husky-lab mix, Luna definitely inherited the best of both worlds – the stunning looks and boundless energy of a husky, combined with the loving, eager-to-please nature of a lab. She's almost three now, and every day is an adventure with her. Her energy levels are off the charts! If there’s a ball to be chased or a toy to be squeaked, Luna is on it. She’s taught me so much about living in the moment and finding joy in the simplest things. One of Luna's absolute favorite things, besides a good belly rub, is definitely a pup-cup! The way her eyes light up when she hears the drive-thru window opening is just priceless. She's also a big fan of car rides, sticking her head out the window, taking in all the smells and sights. And let's not forget her famous 'food-watching' habit – if you're eating, chances are Luna is right there, staring intently with those big eyes, hoping for a stray crumb. It’s impossible not to laugh. We spend a lot of time outdoors, which she absolutely adores. Whether it’s a long walk in the park, a hike on a new trail, or just lounging in the backyard, Luna thrives on 'being outside'. I remember when we were first working on 'potty training', it felt like an endless cycle of trips outside, but she picked it up surprisingly fast, and now she’s a pro! And if there's one thing that gets her more excited than anything, it's snow. The first snowfall of the year is always a huge event for her; she'll roll around, dig, and pounce through it with such pure joy. It’s moments like these that truly warm my heart. Having Luna has been one of the most rewarding experiences. She's more than just a pet; she’s my loyal companion, my shadow, and my furry best friend. Her playful antics and unconditional love make every day brighter. I wouldn’t trade our adventures for anything.
