For as long as I can remember, cars have been my absolute passion. It's more than just a hobby; it's a fundamental part of who I am. There’s a unique thrill in the engineering, the design, and the raw connection you feel with a machine built for driving. So, when it came to choosing my dream car, it wasn't a decision I took lightly. After countless hours of research, test drives, and dreaming, I finally brought home my Toyota GR86, and I couldn't be happier. What drew me to the GR86? It’s a combination of so many things. First, the heritage. Toyota and Subaru collaborated to create a truly driver-focused machine, an evolution of the beloved 86 and BRZ platform. I was looking for a car that offered a pure, unadulterated driving experience, and the GR86 delivers that in spades. The naturally aspirated engine, the perfectly balanced chassis, and the manual transmission (yes, I went for the stick shift!) all contribute to a feeling of engagement that's hard to find in modern cars. Driving the GR86 is an absolute joy. From the moment you turn the key, you can feel the car eager to perform. The steering is incredibly precise, giving you excellent feedback from the road. You truly feel connected to every turn and every curve. Whether I’m navigating busy city streets or exploring winding backroads, the GR86 handles beautifully. It’s nimble, responsive, and always ready to put a smile on my face. It really exemplifies the Gazoo Racing philosophy – making cars fun to drive, not just fast. One of the things I love most about owning a car like this is the ability to personalize it and make it truly your own. While I adore its stock form, I've added a few subtle touches that reflect my style. For instance, I've got a custom license plate, EJ-2756, which holds a special meaning to me and my journey with cars. These small details make it feel even more like an extension of myself. It’s not just a car; it’s a canvas for expression and a testament to my dedication to the automotive world. Beyond the performance and aesthetics, living with the GR86 has been a surprisingly practical experience. While it's undoubtedly a sports car, it's comfortable enough for daily commutes and has enough trunk space for weekend getaways. But let's be honest, the real magic happens when you hit the open road. It’s a car that encourages you to drive, to explore, and to simply enjoy the journey. If you’re a car enthusiast looking for an engaging, affordable, and incredibly fun sports car that truly puts the driver first, I wholeheartedly recommend the Toyota GR86. It’s been nothing short of a dream come true for me.

2/16/26 update A mouse has chewed wires up under the dash and he’s not sure how long it will take to be fixed 😢 I’m not sure what I’m going to do but hopefully it will be fixed soon. He has replaced a $800 part and it started then the anti theft light came back on and my jeep won’t start again.

How Hail Damage Wrecked our Cars! 😭

This hail storm happened about 3 weeks ago in Missouri when My Husband and myself were both at work.
