If you're planning a visit to Cafe Wabi Sabi, consider timing your trip to avoid peak hours. I went around 2:30 pm, and it was pleasantly quiet, with plenty of seating available—a nice break from the usual busy cafes like Hello Arigato nearby. The cafe's Japanese-inspired interior adds to the relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind with friends or a book. Beyond the popular items listed like the iced strawberry matcha and salmon mentai don, it's worth asking the staff about any seasonal specials or off-menu drinks. Although the brown sugar matcha wasn't always listed online, the version I tried was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. For those who appreciate a sweet ending, the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream was heavenly—a perfect comfort dessert after your meal. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality and freshness of ingredients made it worthwhile. Lastly, keep an eye out for promotions such as CDC vouchers, which can make your dining experience at Cafe Wabi Sabi even more enjoyable and budget-friendly. Also, the cafe’s location at 3 Everton Park makes it an ideal stop when exploring the nearby trendy eateries and cafes in Outram.
