Imma just say this is entry 1 cause now I’m intentionally doing this forreal.
Day 7 (I think I haven’t been keeping count until today) without the big three socials -Twitter, Facebook and instagram-
| |Switching to Lemon8 because Instagram (and them other ones) are wayyy too overwhelming. So although I miss it and I feel that itch to hop on every time I pick up my phone I’m just….done with that toxic cycle I have with social media in general.
I miss when Instagram was super simple. Plus I enjoy the aspect of just being able to talk and post what I want without feeling like i have to…do the most idk if that makes sense, like insta is so full of…fraudulent and fake joy for people who don’t een care fr. Like yeeaaah post your accomplishments and everything, post those little things and those milestones be the big or small…insta made it to where you gotta damn near be a content creator to even connect with people on a genuine level and even still the algorithm doesn’t even show you your friends or following forreal…they just push the latest viral content and that’s annoying. It’s elitist, it’s influences classism and is just outright annoying. I’m just yapping to myself Forreal don’t nobody be on my page and don’t nobody care forreal lmaoooo 🤷🏾♀️💀
