DIY Christmas Nativity

Started this project in September 2024. Finally, after a year of hard work, learning and family stories it is finally finished. I’m so proud of what I made with my grandpa but I think my favorite part is all the time I was able to spend with him, uninterrupted watching him work on a hobby he has a passion for.
My grandpa loves projects. His dad was a great carpenter and I could tell that while we worked, memories with his dad came flooding back for him. It made me so happy to see that and listen to what my great grandpa was like (not something he typically talks about)
I’m sad the project time has come to an end but maybe that means it’s time to create a new idea 🤪
