Part 3? 🤧 I’ve sold so many.

... Read moreOver the years, I've had quite a journey exploring different luxury bags, and I wanted to share some candid thoughts beyond just the hype. For instance, the Fashion Nova version of Balenciaga’s Le Cagole looked super cute, but it failed the everyday practicality test for me—it just didn’t hold what I needed. The Alexander Wang Rockie bag was another tough love story. I was obsessed with it initially, drawn to its edgy studded design, which however made it considerably heavy. Also, the leather didn’t age as well as I expected, showing wear that diminished its appeal quickly. This taught me to consider not just the initial style but how a bag will stand the test of time. Then there was my Juicy Couture phase—I bought around four during the height of their popularity, which brought back nostalgic teenage vibes. Although fun at the moment, these bags didn't fit my evolving style and ended up sold. Marc Jacobs' tote bag was another hype purchase. While not unpleasant, it simply didn’t resonate with my style preferences. This reinforces how subtle personal style and daily needs weigh heavily on my handbag choices. From these experiences, I’ve come to prioritize bags that balance aesthetics with function. When selecting a handbag, I look for quality leather that ages gracefully, comfortable weight, and practical space that fits my essentials. This approach helps me build a collection that I truly enjoy and use, rather than just chasing trends. If you’re thinking of starting or refining your luxury bag collection, think about what fits your lifestyle and style in the long term. Remember, the best bag is one that feels like an extension of yourself—stylish and practical.
