Is there anything you miss about the “old you” ?
#positiveenergy #lemon8challenge ;
I want to do better, be better, and feel better FOR MYSELF! — it’s time to make some serious changes/upgrades in my life! - I’ve been lost for FAR TOO LONG; I’m not the shy, quiet, and uncomfortable type - I’m not the 2nd string type - I’m not the type to stand back or hide in corner - I’m not the type that holds my tongue or refrains from the truth in order to spare someone’s feelings … BUT for the last 15 years that’s what I’ve allowed myself to become AND I DO NOT LIKE IT!
— I am loud, obnoxious, BLUNT and outgoing. I am the farthest thing from shy! I talk a load of shit but that’s just me and most times I’m not being serious! And I’ve always been bluntly honest; if you want shit sugar coated don’t come to me! If you like me, awesome. & if you don’t, either I’ll grow on you or oh well it’s your loss! — I NEED THAT MINDSET BACK; the old Kaylee needs to come back …. LIKE NOW! I miss that bitch! 😂💁🏻♀️✨
•• I need a daily hard smack in the face •• #Lemon8Ladies I need ya!
- I need girls that will push and boost me … (without trying to fuck my husband 😂😂🤷🏻♀️) but seriously tho … push me and I’ll push back, harder. (that’s just another ME thing 🤦🏻♀️) — for those that take the time to read my rambling I appreciate it more than you know! Xox! 😙💋
Feeling disconnected from your former self can be daunting, but it's essential to acknowledge this longing and use it as motivation for positive change. In the quest to rediscover who you once were, consider the following strategies: 1. **Reflect on Past Strengths**: Identify the traits and behaviors that made you feel powerful and confident. What habits did you have that empowered you? Write them down and consider ways to integrate these into your daily life again. 2. **Set Realistic Goals**: Instead of attempting an overnight transformation, set small, achievable goals. This could involve stepping out of your comfort zone each day—maybe by speaking your mind more freely or taking on a new social activity. 3. **Seek Support**: Surround yourself with people who inspire and uplift you. Engage with communities, such as groups focused on personal development or positive reinforcement. These networks can provide encouragement and accountability as you embark on your journey. 4. **Practice Self-Compassion**: Understand that the path to rediscovery isn't linear. There will be ups and downs, and it's important to be kind to yourself throughout the process. Embrace every experience, good and bad, as part of growth. 5. **Celebrate Small Victories**: Each step you take towards the old you is worth celebrating. Whether it's expressing your thoughts more boldly or taking time for self-care, acknowledging your progress helps sustain motivation. Ultimately, the journey to reclaiming your old self is a profound and empowering experience that can help you find fulfillment and confidence again. Remember, it's okay to miss your old self, and it's equally okay to strive for the best version of you moving forward.
