The trick here is to observe its wind-up animation – when you see it drawing back or rearing up, prepare to move! Another thing to watch out for is when it spews corrosive fluid or spores; these can slow you down or deal continuous damage, so try to keep your distance when you see it preparing to spit. For weapons, I personally found that a powerful shotgun or a grenade launcher was incredibly effective for burst damage against its vulnerable points. Make sure to save your magnum or high-damage rifle ammo for when its core is exposed – that's when you want to unleash everything you've got! Also, ensure you have plenty of healing items. Plant 43 can deal a lot of damage if you're not careful, so I always stock up on at least three First Aid Sprays and a couple of green herbs before heading into this battle. Being prepared with a full inventory of useful items makes a huge difference. Now, for the actual strategy on how to beat Plant 43. The early part of the fight involves damaging its tentacles or the glowing bulbs on its vines. Focus fire on these visible weak points. Once you've dealt enough damage to these appendages, Plant 43 will briefly expose its central core, which is its main weakness. This is your window to unleash your most powerful weapons! My personal strategy was to use the shotgun on the attacking tentacles to quickly stun it, then immediately switch to the magnum or a high-powered rifle for maximum damage on the core before it retracts. Mastering the dodge is paramount in this fight. For the sweeping attacks, a well-timed dodge towards the tentacle or simply sprinting away from its path can save you from taking unnecessary damage. For the slam attack, I found that dodging sideways right before impact worked best. There are usually some crates or obstacles in the arena that you can use to briefly put distance between yourself and the boss, but don't rely on them as permanent cover; they will get destroyed quickly. Maintaining constant movement is more important than trying to find a static 'safe spot.' Always be on the move, keeping an eye on Plant 43’s next move. Another vital tip: manage your inventory wisely. Attempting to reload during an attack can be fatal. Try to reload when Plant 43 is recovering from an attack or when you've created a bit of distance and are temporarily safe. Don't get greedy with your shots; prioritize survival and consistent damage over trying to land every single hit. Patience is a virtue here. After a couple of cycles of damaging tentacles and hitting the core, Plant 43 will finally go down.
