MY SELF CARE DAY🌸
Hey girlies,
I hope you all are having a great day. Just finished catching up on reading my new book, the four agreements and it is such a great new book. This book is so deep and truly motivated me to think about the agreements that I have made about myself in my life. Word for today is “Rewind.” Rewind the time where you felt whole again, where you felt free and stay in that place. Remember that rewinding the time is not always negative because those joyous memories is what’s suppose to keep you humble and free. #peacefulreads #selfcare #dayinmylife #blackgirlcreator
Self-care is essential for maintaining mental and emotional health, especially for Black women who often juggle numerous responsibilities. Taking time for yourself allows you to rejuvenate and regain focus. One of the best practices is creating a relaxing environment: consider lighting candles, playing soothing music, or immersing yourself in nature. Additionally, engaging in reflective reading, like 'The Four Agreements' by Don Miguel Ruiz, inspires personal freedom and growth by encouraging deeper thought about your own beliefs and life agreements. The concept of 'rewinding' is crucial; it means revisiting moments of joy and peace to replenish your spirit. Journaling can also be a powerful tool—write about your happiest memories or meditate on what freedom means to you. Engage fully in your unique self-care rituals, whether that involves yoga, meditation, or simply enjoying a cup of tea while reading. Remember, prioritizing self-care doesn't just benefit you; it also allows you to show up more positively for your loved ones.
