Reflecting on the phrase "today I am made of clay," I find it resonates deeply with the idea of being a work in progress, constantly molded by our experiences and emotions. Much like clay, we start with a basic form and have the power to shape ourselves into unique creations. This mindset has helped me embrace the imperfections in my life and find beauty in the process of growth. When I remind myself that I am malleable, it encourages me to stay open to change and new possibilities. It’s a metaphor that pushes me to actively engage in self-reflection, to gently reshape old habits, and to build resilience. Embracing this flexibility has been freeing, empowering me to adapt without losing my core identity. I incorporate small rituals into my day that reinforce this idea—journaling about my goals, experimenting with creative projects, or simply allowing myself moments to breathe and reset. These practices help me stay connected to the idea that I am continually evolving, like clay on a potter's wheel. Ultimately, being ‘made of clay’ symbolizes hope and potential. It reminds us that no matter where we are in life, we hold the power to redefine ourselves and to craft a life filled with intention, creativity, and joy.
