Start talkin bout Jesus
Sharing the word of God and hearing about, Jesus, may pushing people away from you. “Oh no, Kim is a holy roller now.” so they may just scroll along by your post. But for that split second, they thought about Jesus. And your work is done. Sometimes that is all it takes to get someone thinking about Jesus. And ultimately, possibly leading them to relationship with Christ. And that’s what we’re here for.🩷
Sharing about Jesus can feel intimidating, especially when worried about being labeled or misunderstood. However, from personal experience, I've found that even a short mention or subtle invitation to reflect can plant a seed of curiosity in someone's mind. It's not about forcing beliefs but gently opening doors for others to consider spirituality in their own time. Often, people may scroll past messages about faith, but that fleeting moment they pause—even if just for a second—can be a profound opportunity. It's like stones in a pond; a small ripple can lead to greater waves. I've seen friends initially hesitant to engage in faith discussions eventually express interest after multiple subtle interactions. Being authentic and compassionate in sharing your beliefs helps break down barriers. You don't have to be overly assertive; simply living your values and sharing your experiences can speak volumes. Encouraging questions and offering support without judgment creates an inviting space for dialogue. Remember, sharing the word of God is a journey rather than a single event. Patience and consistency are key. Celebrate small wins, like someone's curiosity sparked or a brief conversation initiated. These moments collectively guide others toward a meaningful relationship with Christ, which is the ultimate goal.
