Room Upgrade: The Doggy Door
I am on a journey to make my living space more organized and comfortable.
I love my room, but I admittedly have too many things and OFTEN forget about some of the goodies I have until things pile up and it get overwhelming. Is it just me? 😅😮💨I really have that out of sight out of mind mentality 🤣
I originally bought this organizer (two weeks ago 🤣) for the few things on my door. A reminder that purses should be temporary (after a day/out and returned to my closet) and it’s only for items for my pups (they don’t have their own closet, yet, so I thought this could serve as a place holder).
I notice after removing my purses. I only had 3 leashes, 3 harnesses, and poop bags. The organizer was pretty much empty until I remembered I had a bin of puppy goodies I haven’t touched in literally YEARS!!!!
👍Pros: I found outfits, some with tags still attached
👍Pros: I found many collars, leashes, and harness that I may save for the pups I dog sit or donate, but at least it’s in view so I won’t forget
👍Pros: I found hair accessories 💕💕💕💕 comes in clutch for my yorkie mix and poodle mix
👍Pros:Was able to discard of expired treats (baby, I’m talking 2020!!), broken leashes, old harnesses, etc that can no longer serve its purpose
👍Pros: I found cones of shame and grooming products
The stuff I was most excited to find!!!
- A small wallet, literally was going to buy one
-collars for youngest, again, literally was about to buy one
-Treat bag, again no need to buy, so important for walks!! Especially when I walk pups that are know for scavenging (to distract/discorage) or simply because every pup I meet is such a good girl or boy 🥹🥹
- baby teeth of my oldest. Takes me back to when I first got her (my very first pup of my own 🤧)
-A leash that belonged to “an old friend” a pup I was forced to give up (wasn’t ready to discard despite it being in such bad shape) - I pray God and the Universe is looking over that good boy 🤧🥹 I hope he gets all a dog could ever need and want plus more 🙏🏾
My mother always used to say a clean house is a light house. I do feel like my room is “lighter” with the items I was able to discard and I got a quick and a lil emotional trip down memory lane. Most importantly, I’m more organized that before and that was the goal! It’s not perfect, but one breath at a time.
💰Price: $17.99
⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: No complaints
👍Pros: Deep and Wide pockets (7”x15”x6)
👍Pros: Comes with two types of hooks (a pair for doors/a pair for closet rods)
👍Pros: Sturdy

Organizing your living space can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to managing pet supplies. With pets, it’s easy to accumulate leashes, collars, and toys, often leading to clutter and lost items. To tackle this, an over-the-door organizer not only saves space but also offers visibility of all your pet essentials. These organizers come with clear pockets that can display your dog's harnesses, treats, and grooming tools. Keeping everything organized allows pet owners to easily track their items and avoid unnecessary purchases, such as collars or leash replacements. Additionally, these organizers are designed to suit various spaces, whether it’s a small apartment or a spacious home. They provide an ideal solution for those who may not have dedicated storage options for their pets, freeing up valuable closet space for other belongings. Moreover, engaging in this organizational project can evoke a sense of nostalgia—discovering old toys or collars can bring back fond memories of time spent with beloved pets. This emotional connection makes organizing not just about cleanliness, but also about honoring those cherished moments. By decluttering and re-organizing your pet's items, you create a more inviting environment both for yourself and your furry friends. In essence, a pet supply organizer enhances your lifestyle while allowing you to preserve the memories associated with your pet's belongings. Focusing on organization and memory can transform your space into a harmonious and functional home.
