... Read moreIt’s such an incredible feeling to truly know, deep in your heart, that you are chosen by God. For me, that realization brought so much peace and purpose. When I first encountered the scripture in 1 Peter 2:9, it was a game-changer. It says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” Reading that, it wasn't just words on a page; it was an affirmation of my identity as His beloved child. What does it really mean to be a 'royal priesthood'? For a long time, I thought priesthood was just for a select few, but this verse opened my eyes. It means we, as believers, have direct access to God. We don't need intermediaries; we can approach His throne with confidence. We are called to offer spiritual sacrifices of praise and worship, and to live lives that honor Him. Being part of a 'holy nation' signifies that we are set apart, not just individually, but as a community, for God's purposes. We are meant to reflect His glory in the world, showing His love and character to those around us. This scripture truly affirmed for me that I am indeed a royal priesthood, not by anything I've done, but purely by His grace and choosing. It's a gift! And being 'God’s special possession' isn't about ownership in a limiting way, but about being cherished and valued beyond measure. It means He has a unique plan for each of us, a divine purpose that aligns with His kingdom. Embracing this identity completely shifted my perspective on challenges and blessings alike. I realized that even on days when I don't feel perfect, His choice of me stands firm. My worth isn't based on my performance, but on His unwavering love. Now, when I affirm, 'I am chosen by God,' it’s not just a statement, it’s a foundational truth that guides my steps. It empowers me to live boldly and with confidence, knowing I am incredibly loved and equipped for whatever He has called me to do. It reminds me daily that I am a beloved child, called to reflect His glory in everything. If you’ve been searching for a deeper understanding of your own spiritual identity, I encourage you to meditate on 1 Peter 2:9. Let it sink into your spirit and transform how you see yourself and your walk with God. It’s an amazing journey of discovering just how much you are cherished and how significant your role is in His grand design.

Amen!!! Once I accepted the sacrifice of the Lord Yahshua I can really say I am chosen by God! For it is not something I could ever do, but it is by grace of God that I can be a chosen one the same way that I got salvation through the Lord’s sacrifice!!!
