Thursday Thoughts!!
Here’s a Thursday thought that will reset how you measure success: the greatest portfolio you will ever build is not measured by what you accumulate on earth — but by what you invest in eternity.
Every one of us is building something. Every one of us is investing somewhere. The only question is whether our greatest investment is going into something that can be taken away — or something that cannot.
Jesus put it plainly: “Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” Markets fluctuate. Businesses fail. Possessions wear out. Reputations fade. But what is invested in eternity — a soul reached, a life discipled, a truth faithfully taught, a child raised to know God, a Kingdom advanced — that can never be lost, stolen, or devalued.
Moses walked away from the wealth of Pharaoh’s palace because “he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.” Heaven calls that wisdom. Paul wrote from a Roman prison and nearly two thousand years later people are still being saved through those letters. His earthly ministry ended — but his eternal rewards are still growing.
So here’s your Thursday question: if you took inventory of this week so far — the hours spent, the decisions made, the opportunities taken — how much of it will matter when you stand before Christ?
⚠️ I go much deeper on this in the full Kingdom Key Point article — the Bema Seat, the five crowns, what it means to build with gold vs. wood and stubble, and the one question that changed my entire life in 2024.
