Thursday Thoughts KKP 71 Vol. 7
Here’s a Thursday thought for every leader who woke up this morning not feeling like it.
Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 15:58 to people who were tired, questioned, and living in a culture that opposed everything they stood for. And his charge was not “wait until you feel better.” It was: “Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”
Stedfast. Unmoveable. Always. Those are not feeling words. Those are commitment words.
Feelings are real. God gave them to us. But feelings are also temporary and can often be deceiving. The day you feel least like praying may be the day prayer matters most. The season you feel least like building may be the very season God is laying the foundation for everything that comes next.
Feelings start the conversation. True conviction and discipline finish the race.
Your labor is not in vain. Keep going. 🟢

As someone who has experienced moments of doubt and fatigue in leadership roles, I find this message incredibly grounding. When Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 to be "stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord," it reminds me that feelings are often fleeting but commitment is enduring. From personal experience, the days I felt least motivated to lead or pray were ironically the very days when perseverance produced the most growth and impact. Integrating this mindset means prioritizing discipline over emotion. Feelings might waver with circumstances, but the true measure of leadership is faithfulness during those low seasons. I recall a time when workplace challenges made me question my purpose, yet choosing to stay focused and consistent led to breakthroughs far beyond initial expectations. The Kingdom Key Points highlighted in the images underscore this truth by encouraging continuous prayer, boldness in teaching, and working with a clear purpose. Scripture like Colossians 3:23 and 2 Timothy 4:2 further call us to serve wholeheartedly, regardless of emotional state. Building with purpose requires trusting that today's faithful labor lays the foundation for tomorrow’s success, even if immediate results aren’t visible. This approach transforms leadership from a role defined by feelings to one anchored in conviction and steadfastness. For anyone in leadership or personal growth journeys, embracing faithfulness over feelings can be transformative. It’s an invitation to build enduring legacies by committing to actions aligned with God’s purposes, regardless of momentary discouragements. Engaging with supportive communities, such as the Kingdom Key Points group, can also provide accountability and encouragement to keep pressing forward.
