if flipped that table it didn’t belong in ur life

Some of you are grieving

what God already delivered you from.

You asked Him to remove it.

You cried about it.

You prayed about it.

You begged Him to step in.

And He did.

But now…

you’re looking back.

Missing it.

Replaying it.

Tempted to rebuild it.

Let me say this clearly:

📖 “Remember not the former things… I am doing a new thing.” — Isaiah 43:18–19 (NLT)

If God removed it…

it wasn’t random.

It was intentional.

And here’s where it gets real:

What God removes,

your flesh will still crave.

What God cuts off,

your emotions will still feel attached to.

What God frees you from,

your mind will try to revisit.

🔥 But don’t rebuild what He removed.

Don’t reconnect what He disconnected.

Don’t reopen what He closed.

Don’t revive what He buried.

Because if He flipped that table…

it didn’t belong in your life

And I know…

it felt familiar.

It felt comfortable.

It felt like “home” in a way.

But familiar doesn’t mean it was from God.

🤍 Hear this:

You’re not losing something.

You’re being released from something

that couldn’t go where God is taking you.

So don’t go back.

Don’t rebuild it.

Don’t touch what God already put His hand on.

🙏 PRAYER:

God,

give me the strength to let go

of what You already removed.

Even when it feels familiar…

even when I’m tempted to go back…

help me trust You fully.

Amen 🤍

... Read moreHaving personally experienced moments when God has led me to release things I once held onto dearly, I understand the internal struggle described here—the craving to return to what felt safe and familiar despite knowing it no longer aligned with God's purpose for me. It's natural for our emotions and memories to pull us back, but this reminder that "if He flipped that table, it didn’t belong in your life" has been a powerful anchor for my faith journey. What helped me was daily affirmations of scriptures like Isaiah 43:18–19, which encourages not to dwell on former things but to embrace the new work God is doing. I found journaling my prayers and feelings enabled me to surrender my desires fully and notice the subtle ways God was guiding me forward rather than backward. It also helped to seek fellowship with others who encouraged trusting God's timing and plan, especially during seasons of uncertainty. Moreover, understanding that familiarity does not equate to divine approval was liberating. Comfort zones can feel like "home," but they are sometimes prisons disguised in warmth. Surrendering these can open doors to growth, peace, and a fresh start that better serves God's purpose in our lives. The message to "not rebuild what He removed" is a strong but necessary counsel. It is a call to trust beyond our temporary feelings and walk faithfully in the new path God prepares, even amid challenges and temptation. I encourage anyone struggling to let go to lean into prayer, community support, and scripture to find strength to release and embrace God's plan with hope and courage.
