🤍 Keep going. He’s leading.
Some of you aren’t stuck…
you’re just too comfortable to move.
And I say that with love—
because I’ve been there too.
Settling into routines that feel safe…
staying in places God already told you to outgrow…
holding onto what’s familiar, even when it’s no longer aligned.
Comfort will convince you that you’re okay…
while quietly keeping you from your calling.
You’ll start calling it “peace”…
when really it’s avoidance.
You’ll call it “waiting on God”…
when really God already told you to move.
📖 “The Lord says, ‘I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.’” — Psalm 32:8 (NLT)
He’s not asking you to have it all figured out.
He’s asking you to trust Him enough
to take the next step.
Even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when it doesn’t make sense yet.
Even when it costs you something.
Because what you’re holding onto…
might be the very thing
keeping you from what you prayed for.
📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (NLT)
You don’t have to move perfectly.
You just have to move obediently.
One step.
One yes.
One surrender at a time.
🤍 Keep going. He’s leading.

Many times in life, comfort can become a subtle form of captivity. I’ve personally experienced moments where I convinced myself that staying in a predictable, familiar place was the safest option, only to realize later that it was actually preventing me from moving toward what God had planned for me. The feeling we often label as "peace" can sometimes mask avoidance — a resistance to change rooted in fear or uncertainty. What I learned through my faith journey is the crucial difference between waiting actively on God and stagnating in complacency. God’s guidance doesn’t always come wrapped in clarity or ease. Sometimes, it feels uncomfortable or even costly to take that next step. But the promise is that He advises and watches over us along the best pathway for our lives, just as Psalm 32:8 reminds us. It’s important to realize that God doesn’t expect perfection in our obedience. What He desires is movement—one step, one act of surrender at a time. This progressive trust has a powerful ripple effect, helping us shed what’s heavy or misaligned and walk into what He has prepared. When we release control and lean on His wisdom, beyond our own understanding as Proverbs 3:5 encourages, we position ourselves to receive the blessings awaiting us. In my experience, when I finally let go of what was holding me back and trusted the unseen plan, doors began to open in ways I hadn’t imagined. It’s empowering and freeing to step out of comfort zones with faith as your guide and know that you’re not behind schedule but precisely where you need to be. Holding on tightly to the familiar can often be the barrier between prayer and fulfillment. Yet, with each obedient yes, even in discomfort, God leads us closer to completion and purpose. If you find yourself stuck or too comfortable, I encourage you to reflect on whether you’re truly at peace or simply waiting in avoidance. Trust that God’s plan transcends what you leave behind; what's ahead is greater. Embrace faith-driven forward movement, knowing He’s leading you every step of the way.
