🌾 Held by His Promises
Some seasons will test whether your faith is anchored in God’s character… or in your circumstances.
Because it’s easy to trust when prayers are answered quickly.
It’s easy to worship when life feels stable.
It’s easy to believe when the path makes sense.
But real faith is built in the moments where you have to hold onto God even when everything around you feels uncertain.
Feelings change.
People change.
Situations change.
But God does not.
The Shepherd has never abandoned His sheep.
Not once.
Even when you cannot see what He’s doing…
He is still working.
Still leading.
Still protecting.
Still making a way.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop letting fear narrate your future and start standing on what God already said.
His promises are not fragile.
His faithfulness is not temporary.
And His plans for your life are not falling apart because you’re in a difficult season.
Hold onto His Word tighter than your worry.
🤍
“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.”
— Hebrews 10:23 NLT

From my personal experience, embracing God's promises during uncertain seasons can be transformative. Often, when life is steady and prayers are answered quickly, faith feels natural. However, the true test comes in difficult moments when circumstances shift unexpectedly, and emotions waver. In these times, anchoring oneself in God’s unchanging nature brings remarkable peace. I recall a period when I faced significant challenges, and doubts crept into my heart. Yet, by intentionally speaking aloud scriptures like Hebrews 10:23 and writing down encouraging verses, my faith was strengthened daily. This practice helped replace fear with trust, especially when negative thoughts tried to steal my peace. I learned that faith is not about seeing the full picture but believing that God is working behind the scenes even when His plan isn’t clear. Using scripture as an anchor helped me focus less on my fluctuating feelings or circumstances and more on God’s promises that never fail. It reminded me that the Shepherd is always pursuing and caring for His sheep, regardless of how uncertain life seems. This shift brought comfort and renewed hope, enabling me to stand firm and persevere. For anyone feeling overwhelmed or anxious, my advice is to hold onto God’s Word tighter than your worries. Write down the promises, declare them daily, and let them anchor your soul. Remember, feelings and people may change, but God’s faithfulness and plans do not. Trust Him to keep His promises as a firm foundation in your faith journey.
