He is worthy of our praise
There is no Savior without a cross.
And there is no discipleship without surrender.
So many want resurrection power, but few want crucifixion.
We want promise without process.
Glory without surrender.
Breakthrough without dying to self.
But Jesus said:
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” — (NLT)
This walk will cost you something.
It will cost pride.
It will cost comfort.
It will cost control.
It will cost the version of you that still wants to stay in charge.
Cross-carrying is not weakness.
It is surrender.
It is obedience.
It is trust.
“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” — (NLT)
When we truly follow Jesus:
✝️ We accept His purpose
✝️ We die to self
✝️ We break free from ego
✝️ We redefine legacy
✝️ We become carriers of His presence
Following Jesus does not mean a scar-free life.
It means every scar now has purpose.
The cross doesn’t just change where you’re going.
It changes who you become.
Fix your eyes on Jesus.
“Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame.” — (NLT)
The world is watching.
Not for perfect people.
But surrendered people.
People who walk in humility, love, and boldness.
Pick up your cross.
Follow Him closely.
And let Christ be seen in you.

Amen
