the aesthetic of our wedding was black and white and the attire was formal with black and/or neutral tones. i provided an example of neutral tones in the q & a section of our wedding website.
the seating chart was printed on the back of our wedding program which was given to our guests as they arrived to the venue prior to the start of our ceremony. i felt it was convenient for our guests to have in hand prior to the start of our reception.
i wanted an elegant, timeless veil. so i chose a light ivory, royal cathedral length veil with a custom full body length blusher. something i could give to my daughter someday as her “something borrowed” or however she’d like to make use of it for her wedding.
since my husband and i had our wedding in december during the winter season, i wore a hair pin in the shape of a snowflake. i also gifted my matron of honor and bridesmaids hair pins in the shape of a snowflake, a different design from mine, which they had the option of wearing for the wedding.
i’m pretty minimal and intentional when it comes to jewelry. so i chose a pair of bow earrings i knew i’d want to wear again. i actually wore the same pair of earrings to my baby shower this past august which is fitting because i had a girl. ✨
