Bible nightly reading! 🙌🏾♥️
Allowing Gods word to saturate my heart and mind!!#nightly bible verse #findgod🙏🏼📖 #bible reading 🥰
You know, sometimes life throws so much at us, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed, even scared. There are moments when a quiet sense of dread or anxiety just creeps in, making it hard to find peace. That's exactly why my nightly Bible reading has become so incredibly precious to me. It’s not just a routine; it's my anchor when the world feels shaky. When I come across verses that say, 'Do not be afraid,' it's like God is speaking directly to my heart, reminding me that I’m not alone. I’ve found that focusing on these powerful promises can truly shift my perspective. It's a deep, comforting truth that God is sovereign, present, and always in control, even when things feel chaotic. One of the greatest sources of comfort for me is remembering God's immense love and His unwavering presence. Verses like Isaiah 41:10, 'So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,' are like a warm embrace. They remind me that no matter what challenge I face, His strength is sufficient. It’s not about me being strong enough, but about leaning on Him completely. And speaking of strength, thinking about God as 'Alpha and Omega' really puts things into perspective. He was there at the beginning, He is here now, and He will be there at the end. His plans are perfect, and His love never fails. This understanding helps me trust Him more deeply and lets go of the need to control everything myself. It’s a profound realization that frees my spirit from the grip of fear. The OCR from my image, mentioning 'God heals!!', resonates so much with this journey. Fear can often manifest as a sickness of the soul, draining our energy and joy. God’s word truly brings healing to those anxious places, transforming worry into a profound sense of peace. That night, reading Psalm 103, which is titled 'The Forgiving God,' also brought such comfort. Knowing that He forgives and restores takes a massive weight off my shoulders, reducing any lingering fear of judgment or past mistakes. It allows me to move forward with a lighter heart. If you're struggling with fear or anxiety, I truly encourage you to seek out those 'do not be afraid' verses in the Bible. Start with familiar ones, or just open to a Psalm and let God's spirit guide you. Let His words wash over you, meditating on their truth. It's amazing how much courage and peace you can find when you allow His truth to saturate your heart and mind daily. It's a consistent, loving practice that builds spiritual resilience and helps you face tomorrow with confidence.
