「アカシア 新宿本店」って検索すると“ロールキャベツが有名”は知っていても、実際どんな感じで行けばいいの？が気になりませんか。私は新宿駅から徒歩3分くらいで到着しましたが、大通りから一本入った裏路地に突然“ここが新宿って本当!?”と思うような木造の建物が出てきて、まず外観でテンションが上がりました。60年の歴史を持つ洋食屋さんって聞くと敷居が高そうなのに、入口は意外と入りやすい雰囲気です。 初めてなら注文はやっぱり名物のロールキャベツがおすすめ。私が食べたのは「ロールキャベツシチュー＋ごはん」の組み合わせで、しっかりボリューミーでした。ポイントは“チキンスープでじっくり煮込んでいる”ところ。牛乳やバターのこってり系とは違って、濃厚なんだけど重すぎず、最後までスプーンが止まらない感じ。口の中でとろける食感も納得で、「長年愛されるの分かる…」と思いました。 写真を撮るなら、外観の木造感と、シチューの湯気＋ロールキャベツの断面がいちばん映える印象。店内は洋館っぽいレトロな造りで、純喫茶好きの人なら小物や空気感も刺さるはず。私は土日19:00頃に行って数分待ちましたが、賑やかめで回転も悪くないので“新宿で洋食をサクッと食べたい”日にも使いやすいと思います。 支払いは現金だけじゃなくカードや電子マネー、QR決済もOKで助かりました。新宿で「ロールキャベツ 新宿」で迷ったら、まずはアカシア新宿本店を一回体験してみてほしいです。レトロな空間に癒されつつ、きちんとお腹も満たされます。
