Ive been telling my baby since birth that Mommy is a super star. From now on not only will she see mommy acting online but when you or my baby search Amazon Prime or Tubi BOOM! I am there!! I have writing creds and now film creds too and this one made it to the big screen. I took my child to the premiere so she can be apart of my network and promotional endeavors. We had a great time. She liked the food and just observing the other acts.

Watching a movie premiere, especially one in which you have played a part as a writer or actress, offers a unique and fulfilling experience. Taking your child to such an event not only introduces them to the entertainment industry but also creates cherished bonding opportunities. The 2025 Urban Film Festival is a significant platform showcasing emerging talent and compelling stories, such as the film "Child Support," which addresses important social themes. Attending this premiere allowed for exposure to diverse creatives and different aspects of film production—including networking, promotions, and the behind-the-scenes hustle. Kids who witness such events often develop an early appreciation for the arts and may feel inspired to pursue creative endeavors. Beyond the glamour of the red carpet, the festival environment fosters community connection and cultural dialogue. For parents balancing creative careers and family life, sharing milestones like film premieres underlines the importance of pursuing passions while involving loved ones in the journey. Platforms like Amazon Prime and Tubi help make indie films more accessible, enabling wider audiences to engage with stories from festivals year-round. This experience also highlighted the value of representation and storytelling in media. Films from urban film festivals bring forward narratives often underrepresented in mainstream cinema, providing authentic voices and new perspectives.
