... Read moreThrough my personal skincare journey, I've realized that the tiniest habits can make a huge difference in skin health. One major mistake I often see—and am guilty of—is touching your face without washing your hands first. Our hands carry dirt and bacteria, which can easily transfer to the face, causing breakouts or irritation. Another common pitfall is using random or unverified ingredients like baking soda on the skin. While baking soda has been touted as a home remedy, it can disrupt the skin's natural pH, leading to dryness and sensitivity. I've also learned that using the same towel repeatedly without washing can harbor bacteria, which then spreads back onto the skin. Regularly changing pillowcases is equally essential since dead skin cells and oils accumulate there, contributing to clogged pores. After using your phone, it's tempting to touch your face, but phones harbor germs that can worsen skin problems. Always make sure to wash your hands or use a clean tissue before applying skincare products. Additionally, sharing skincare products may seem harmless, but it can introduce new bacteria to your skin and cause infections. An important tip I picked up is to avoid popping pimples despite the urge—this can worsen inflammation and lead to scarring. Also, when applying serums or other treatments, ensure your skin is completely dry to maximize absorption and effectiveness. Incorporating these simple habits improved my skin texture and reduced breakouts significantly. Following advice from credible sources like Toner Theory ensures that your skincare routine supports your skin’s health rather than harms it. Remember, consistency and hygiene are key to maintaining radiant, healthy skin.

Guys, please don’t put baking soda and lemon juice and mix it up for two minutes please don’t do it. I just researched it and if you do it for a few days, it will make holes in your teeth.
