Big Back Downsides

2025/1/2 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, let's get real for a minute. You know that feeling when you're super proud of your gains, especially your back muscles, but then you try to get dressed? Just yesterday, I was standing in front of the mirror, literally trying to figure out if this dress was 'too tight' or if my lats had simply decided to stage a rebellion. It's a classic #MuscleMommy problem, and honestly, it's one of the biggest downsides of having a big back! So, what exactly is a 'big back' in the fitness world? When people talk about having a big or muscular back, they're usually referring to well-developed latissimus dorsi (your lats), rhomboids, and trapezius muscles. These are the muscles that give your back that impressive V-taper, width, and thickness. For me, it's a badge of honor from all those heavy rows, pull-ups, and deadlifts. But as much as I love seeing my hard work pay off, it definitely comes with its unique set of challenges. Beyond the clothing struggles – and trust me, they are endless, from jackets that pull across the shoulders to shirts that fit everywhere but the lats – there are other practicalities. Ever tried to reach for something behind you in a car with a super wide back? It can feel like a feat of contortion! Or squeezing into certain airplane seats where you feel like you're practically wearing the person next to you? Yeah, that's a big back problem. And then there's the perception. Sometimes, as a woman with a visibly muscular back, you get comments or looks that are... well, interesting. It challenges traditional ideas of femininity for some, but for me, it's about strength, capability, and feeling powerful in my own skin. Having 'my back be big' isn't just about aesthetics; it's about the functional strength I've built. If you're thinking, 'I have a big back too!' or 'what's a big back like?', trust me, you're not alone. It means you're strong, dedicated, and probably crushing your workouts. While we might have to be more strategic with our wardrobe choices or sometimes struggle with certain everyday movements, the confidence and strength that come with a muscular back are absolutely worth it. My advice? Embrace those gains, find brands that cater to athletic builds, and rock that powerful physique!

grocery shopping in korea is quite the experience compared to the states in a whole lot of different ways for example: -the quality is fresher & no harmful dyes found in their products -prices aren’t as egregious (refer to pic for price of eggs) however, there are downsides, such

one of the biggest downsides is the loss of independence. When you're in a relationship, you have to make compromises and consider someone else's feelings. It can be tough to give up the freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Another downside is the potential for heartbreak. R
