What I eat in a day ✨Breastfeeding Edition🤱✨
My first post🙂
What I ate today while parenting a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 8 month old~ we went to the library for story time and later to my mother and father-in-laws’s cabin for my MIL’s birthday dinner. We ran late to the library so I didn’t have time to pack a snack for me-self. I was feeling a lil hangry from the large spacing between breakfast lunch.
Lunch featured one of 8 meals I prepped for the week🥰 my first go at it!
As a breastfeeding mom, it’s crucial to maintain a balanced diet to support your health and milk production. When planning meals, consider incorporating nutrient-dense foods such as lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. It’s not just about calories; quality matters! Keeping healthy snacks handy, like Greek yogurt with fruits, can help combat hunger between meals, especially during busy days with toddlers. Hydration is equally important. Aim to drink plenty of water throughout the day, particularly when breastfeeding, to stay hydrated. Herbal teas, like peppermint with honey, can be a soothing choice. Meal prepping is a great strategy for busy parents. By preparing meals in advance, you can ensure that you have healthy options available, reducing the temptation to grab less nutritious snacks on the go. Many moms find that having a variety of meals available helps them stay energized and focused while caring for their little ones. Lastly, involve your toddlers in meal prep! This not only helps them learn about food and healthy choices but also makes mealtime a fun family bonding experience. Encourage them to choose fruits and vegetables they like or help prepare simple snacks. Sharing these moments fosters a positive relationship with food for your children and makes meals feel special.

Welcome! Can’t wait to see more from you in the future💛
