what its like having a girl cat (thats orange)
For starters, it's very rare to have an orange cat that's female. This special little baby was rescued from a trap house. She was skinny, malnourished, and scared of everything and everyone. It took her weeks to come out of my bathroom, but when she did i was in for a treat. She is my velcro kitty, she sleeps on my chest every night and demands to be carried like a baby. she's still food insecure, and as a result she is fat like a turkey as I say. Love you, Mama Bear 🐈🐾✨️😸❤️
It's truly a special experience owning an orange female cat, not just because of their rarity, but because of the vibrant personalities they bring into your home. When I first heard about how uncommon they are, I knew my Mama Bear was even more unique than I first thought. They say only about 20% of orange cats are female, and observing her daily antics, I can see why their distinct traits are so often attributed to males. But trust me, these girls have their own brand of 'orange energy' – and it's absolutely captivating! If you're thinking about welcoming an orange girl into your life, prepare for an exhilarating ride! The 'orange cat energy' is incredibly real, and it manifests in the most delightful, and sometimes chaotic, ways. One minute, Mama Bear is in a full-blown zoomies session, tearing through the house like a furry, ginger tornado – your couches might just suffer greatly, as mine have! The next, she’ll suddenly decide it’s nap time, finding the sunniest spot for a long, luxurious snooze. They switch between these two extremes so seamlessly, it's like watching a feline switchboard in action. It's her 'orange' kicking in, I always say! Beyond their playful energy, orange female cats often come with a hearty appetite. My Mama Bear is a prime example. You'll quickly learn that meowing in your face at 5 AM for food is a regular occurrence! They truly love to eat, and sometimes, their food drive can lead to some comical (and occasionally messy) situations. I've seen her act like she's eating her own food, then, as soon as her brother walks away, she'll jump over to finish his, only to return to her own bowl. And yes, sometimes all that enthusiastic eating leads to a bit of an upset stomach – it’s just part of their charmingly greedy nature! Despite their often cuddly and affectionate nature – my Mama Bear is a complete velcro kitty, demanding to be carried like a baby – these girls can also be surprisingly dominant. While they might be small, they certainly know how to assert themselves. They don't mind a good rumble if they feel the need to defend their territory or favorite toy. It’s fascinating how they blend such intense affection with a strong, independent streak. They’re fiercely loyal but also fiercely themselves, making every day an adventure. Loving an orange girl cat means embracing all her unique contradictions!
